CIRGSM Gateway

CIRGSM represents a gateway, allowing the transmission via IP environment (LAN) of information, arriving on RS232 port to a given server for later processing. The operating system create a socket, listening on user defined port and when a client is connected to this port the transmission of the information received on RS232 starts. When the IP network fails the CIRGSM gateway, with Wavecom GSM module inside, dials GSM modem from a user defined list and provide a backup channel to the server until the IP network is recovered. Additionally the device provides power supply 12V and 48V, which can be switched remotely on and off by operator. This permits to perform a restart of external devices on user demand. As a fully alarm situation the system allows via the GSM moule  a full restart to be performed on all devices including CIRGSM gateway itself.
