The Control Unit transmits TDM services over packet based networks. It encapsulates E1 streams into packets. The technology E1 over IP, E1 over Ethernet provides transparency for the telephone exchanges (PBX), switches and other devices by MAN, LAN, WAN Ethernet solutions.
